Cookie Preferences
About Cookies on this Website
This website uses only a small number of cookies and similar browser storage (local storage and session storage) that are necessary to make the site work and to remember your basic preferences. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not profile you or share cookie data with advertising networks. This page explains exactly what we store in your browser and how you can control it.
For full information on how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
Cookies and Storage We Use
We store only the following essential and functional items:
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
svetlana-cart | Local storage | Essential | Remembers the items in your shopping cart. | Until you empty the cart or clear your browser data |
sv_cookie_consent | Local storage | Essential | Records that you have seen and acknowledged the cookie notice, so the notice is not shown again. | Until you clear your browser data or reopen the notice |
svetlana-currency | Local storage | Functional | Remembers the display currency you selected (EUR, CZK, PLN or HUF). | Until you clear your browser data |
theme | Local storage | Functional | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark colour theme. | Until you clear your browser data |
sv_announcement_dismissed | Session storage | Functional | Remembers that you closed the announcement bar. | Until you close the browser tab |
NEXT_LOCALE | Cookie | Functional | Remembers the language version of the website you are using. | Session — deleted when you close the browser |
All of these are first-party (set by this website only), contain no advertising identifiers, and are not used to track you across other websites. Data in local storage and session storage stays in your browser and is not sent to our servers.
Consent and the Cookie Banner
Because we use only cookies and storage that are strictly necessary or that provide functionality you have requested (such as remembering your currency and language), they are exempt from the consent requirement under the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC. We therefore show only an informational notice, with no consent choice, because no consent is required; acknowledging it only hides the notice. No non-essential cookies are set, because we do not use any.
If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will ask for your prior consent through the banner before any such cookie is set, and we will update this page accordingly.
Managing Your Preferences
You can manage cookies and browser storage at any time:
- Show the cookie notice again: click the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of any page.
- Browser controls: all major browsers let you delete cookies and site data (including local storage) that have already been set, or refuse new cookies. Refer to your browser's help pages for instructions. Blocking essential storage may prevent the shopping cart from working.
Third-Party Services
We do not set any third-party advertising or analytics cookies. At checkout, the pickup-point selection map is loaded from Packeta's servers (widget.packeta.com); Packeta is responsible for any data it stores within that map. Our payment provider (GoPay) may set its own cookies on its payment pages when you are redirected there to pay, and Packeta may do so on its tracking website. Those cookies are governed by the respective providers' privacy notices.
